User Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • One person or entity may not maintain multiple accounts

Acceptable Use

Permitted Uses

You may use ElkQR for legitimate business and personal purposes, including:

  • Generating QR codes for business cards and contact information

  • Event and booking QR codes for organizations

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use ElkQR for:

  • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Harassment, abuse, or harmful content
  • Attempting to circumvent our security measures

Service Plans and Billing

Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial with access to Growth Starter plan features. No credit card is required to start your trial.

After Trial Ends

  • Your account will be restricted until you choose a paid plan
  • Trial accounts that remain inactive for 60 days after expiration will be scheduled for deletion
  • You will receive email warnings at 7, 3, and 1 day before the deletion date
  • Subscribing to any paid plan cancels the scheduled deletion and restores full access

Paid Plans

  • Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions
  • We may change our pricing with 30 days advance notice
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time

Content and Data

Your Content

  • You retain ownership of all content you create using ElkQR
  • You grant us permission to store and process your content to provide our services
  • You are responsible for ensuring your content complies with all applicable laws

Data Backup and Loss

While we implement backup procedures, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data. We are not liable for any data loss.

Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons.

Intellectual Property

The ElkQR platform, including its design, functionality, and content, is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without permission.

Limitation of Liability

ElkQR shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for our services in the past 12 months.
